Why a personal home page?

Our purpose in making a homepage has two parts: passing on information to others (mostly family & friends) and as an ongoing project for us to learn and practice html coding, especially CSS (Cascading Style Sheets).

One thing you might notice right away is that some of our links don't look like links - no blue color with a blue line under them. That's deliberate. Pass your mouse pointer over whatever you're interested in and (if there's a link) the mouse pointer will change shape and a little window will pop out with a one or two word descritpion. (Hint: no links on this page except the back button - bottom of page).

Hopefully, this website will be an ongoing project, with subject matter added (and maybe deleted) as we get to it.
